We are proud to celebrate Brother Orville Harmon Jr., a dedicated member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Tau Lambda Chapter, for being honored as one of Claflin University’s 2025 Outstanding Leaders Under 40. This prestigious recognition highlights Orville’s outstanding professional accomplishments, unwavering community impact, and dedication to leadership and service. The core values we hold dear as Alpha men.

A 2012 graduate of Claflin University, Brother Harmon has distinguished himself in the field of risk management. He currently serves as a Manager in Ernst & Young’s (EY) Financial Services Advisory Risk Practice, where he brings more than a decade of consulting experience to clients in the banking, insurance, and fintech sectors. His leadership has been instrumental in transforming internal audit functions and driving regulatory excellence across large-scale engagements.

But Orville’s excellence extends far beyond the boardroom. He is a champion for diversity and inclusion, having led EY’s Advancing Black Executive Coaching Circle to help African Americans advance in Corporate America. As a former board member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), he has opened doors for college students through scholarships and internships. His commitment to service also shines through his work with the American Heart Association, raising over $20,000 to support heart health initiatives.

Within our fraternity, Brother Harmon exemplifies the aims of manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind. His leadership and integrity are an inspiration to us all. As a father, professional, and servant leader, Orville is leaving a legacy that uplifts both his family and the communities he serves.

We salute you, Brother Harmon, on this well-deserved honor. Your journey reminds us that excellence is not a destination—it’s a daily commitment. May your recognition serve as both a celebration and a call for others to continue striving toward greatness.
